Our story
Two people. One ridiculous idea. And a Tuk Tuk that refused to be ignored.
Where it all began
Our story starts, as all the best ones do, slightly unrealistically. On our very first date, somewhere between awkward small talk and deciding on dessert, we found ourselves planning an epic journey: driving a Tuk Tuk from East Asia all the way back to the UK. Sensible? Not even close. Memorable? Absolutely.
While most couples bond over favourite films, we bonded over questionable navigation plans and a shared belief that three wheels are better than four.
Fast forward 30 years (give or take a few sensible life decisions in between), and while that original Tuk Tuk odyssey never quite happened in its full, map-defying glory, the dream refused to die quietly. Instead, it evolved, because let's face it, dreams with engines tend to do that. So we did what any slightly adventure-obsessed duo would do: we headed to India and spent a month driving a Tuk Tuk from one end of the country to the other.
Somewhere between the chaos, colour, dust, laughter, and the occasional "are we going the right way?" moment, something clicked. Or maybe it rattled. Tuk Tuks aren't exactly known for subtlety. What started as a long-standing joke turned into a full-blown love affair. Not just with each other (that part was already sorted), but with the Tuk Tuk itself: the freedom, the unpredictability, and the undeniable charm of life on three wheels.
Now, we are proudly, un-apologetically hooked. For us, Tuk Tuks aren't just a way to get from A to B. They're a way to turn every journey into a story worth telling. Because when you've got three wheels, a sense of humour, and just enough of a plan to get going, you're already exactly where you need to be.
